Finished the soffits on half of the shed and prepped the remaining overhangs for the actual board install. All in all a productive day. ;)

    God morning Jim.

TW is slow to load up pages for me this morning.

Todays work will be difficult at best. The ladder angle is steeper than I would want it to be. I will take some pics and post them up.

Neices boyfriend is swamped with work so I am finishing the shed this week.

The soffits are the first task to take on This pic shows the angle of the ladder and the unfinished soffit. Yesterday I was able to install the 2X2 on the edge and nail in bords to support the soffit boards at the 8ft mark. I also installed the top 1X4 trim.

    DSC_0012-1_2b8a6c141e2f80c7ac4bea1f85b422d4db02b4f8.jpg

Yesterday I finished the front soffit and the first half of the side soffit on both sides of the shed. It was a busy day for me.

Work is slow going and I am constantly reminded that I am no longer 40 something.

looks good! built a 32x48 building awhile ago.didn't know anything. asked people I know, how do you this, that, and whatever. drove them nuts, but really ended up with a solid, well built structure. am well pleased with the end result. don't be afraid to ask. -- just got done waxing my 66 chevy. used to be fun,now its work. took about 6 hr.yesterday to clean up yard. could wash and wax 99 chevy truck, should wash tacoma, gotta get jon boat ready for fall walleye. got to finish the garage, and get to my to do list, with a ton of to do's on it. how the heck did this stuff get done when I was working! oh yea-then there's the rocks!

LOL Overkill, The trusses are 6X2 rather than 4X2 lumber. ;)

Tomorrow will be a lot easier, no ladder work. I am going to try and knock out the doors and begin the ramp. I did install a door sill at top of the door opening today. I may want to add another 2X4 to that so the door stop will be 4 inches rather than 2.
