Pretty cold here as well. Was not able to winterize the water feature last month due to knee. Will pay for that later on in the spring. [IMG]

The aerators are working but the pond is still frozen over.

Last part reminds me of Chanute AFB, IL Dec 1983 to Jun 1984 for tech school. Formations were not fun; I can still remember that first phone call back home from inside a phone booth that was completely iced over. Good times. ;)

Our dog Bear does that all the time; 3 or 4 times before he decides he can't hold it any longer. Not this week though, crazy warm, 36F partly sunny yesterday afternoon. Shoveled berm the grader left across driveway in my gym shorts. Makes a mess with a few feet of snow scattered about.

Is it just me, or at first glance does that almost look like an old man laying in Tom's pond...bottom of pic where ice is broke and leaves make what could pass for a face?

Something wrong when you're as cold as I am in January.

    Curious Carl, Firth of Clyde?

When we were stationed in the UK, you could rent transient quarters there on a space available basis. Spent 10 days touring Scotland with the family while staying in those quarters. Up early over coffee one morning heard the sounds of one of those big boomers being escorted out; I remember rousing the family and all of us running down to the shore to watch. Good memory there, hadn't thought of it in a while. :)

On the temps, since living here I'm ok to about 88F, after that I feel like I'm melting.

-9 degrees in Erie PA. Skin actually "hurt" after walking in it for a minute or two.

-4 here at our place in northeast PA this morning. With the wind gusts the wind chill was around -30. A balmy +3 right now. Another cold one tonight and then things begin to warm up - 50 by the weekend.

Rob, I think that's Jim enjoying a dip in Tom's water feature!! Those old Navy guys love the water, you know!!

Here I am at Watkins Glen with the GT6.
This thing was fast and loud. I knew exactly where it was on the track without seeing it.

    NICE!
Believe it or not, the one that caught my eye is the black one behind the right fender of the GT.
Is that an AMX? If not what it be?

That's why I enjoy driving my L-72 Impala around. There's something about those red flags on the old "SUPER STOCKER"! :D

I had a 1970 Mustang Boss 302 Fastback when I got married. Not too many months later, my son came along and the financial pressures of being in college, married with a child meant we had to choose between the Mustang and Lynn's Subaru. Guess which one got sold?

    Ugh.

Nice looking stable of cars, Mike!
