    Happy New Year guys.

Do you think the problem with Ford extends into the 2013 Ford Fusion with the 2.0 EcoBoost engine?

    Happy New Year Tom.

I honestly don't know, but reading what Paul posted would make me skeptical of anything with the "EcoBoost" moniker. But that's just me ... :notsure:

    Jim:
I went to Sebring in 69. Had a great time and was able to park in the Corvette corral. The sounds were awesome!

Times sure were different back then. We asked an orange farmer if we could have a few oranges and he let us have as many as we wanted as long as the oranges were on the ground. I think he could not sell them if they fell off the trees. Oranges were huge, like a grapefruit. Took a bushel back the barracks and made all sorts of drinks with them. ;) Service life back in the 60's on a 3 day pass.

Mmmm, car porn. That thing sounds like it has no flywheel whatsoever. ;)

Happy New Year everyone! I'll be ferrying my parents to my sister's place in NJ, may not get online until late if at all. Have fun, be safe.

    Morning all:
    Thanks for the update Paul.
I would think a lot of what's going on is not going to stop after 2 yrs., not just at the federal level but at state level also. :(

Got to agree with Jim; spend the $$ on the 64 and don't put more into the 80 than necessary.

Forgot to mention: I got a follow up to the potential spiral cable problem>make an appointment at a Toyota dealer to get it checked! Anyone else get one?

    Morning Carl.

My airbag light came on shortly after I received my initial notice. Made appt, took it in, stupid dealership hadn't ordered the replacement part when I made my appt, so they verified and I had to take it in second time when the part came in.

    You hunting again today?

Exactly ... Sort of ... AK problem ... These guys are the only game in state no competition ... They've treated us well though aside from the appt with no part on hand. We bought the Highlander from them and Kristi has been pleased with them as well the few times she's been in there.

Going to plan B for hunting, am going to go out this afternoon! Maybe the deer figured out that everyone is after them in the morning, and they won't move around until later in the day.

Just saw where PA is going to raise the wholesale tax on gasoline. Of course that will be passed onto the consumer, so now there will be even more tax added to a gal. of gas in addition to the highway tax increase! :(

Happy New Year all you old guys & gals!

It's going to be crazy tonight. OUr local gov't had decided to ban all firecrackers unless you have a permit. Now most of the fireworks going off on New Years are the illegal aerial stuff..go figure.

How is it in your neighborhood? Hawaiians LOVE their fireworks, so it is always chaos over here.

At least the weather is cooperating, with clear skies & north winds, which should get us down to 50* if we're lucky, and the wind will blow away all the smoke.

    Some really cool shit
Love that little blue racer. Very cool. Always wanted to get into racing when I was younger but didn't happen. Now that I have the money, I have no time. Mostly though, not ENOUGH money. But, to quench the thirst I still get out a little. This is me and my car at Sears Point earlier this year.

Just remember we elect the politicians but once they get in it is next to impossible to elect them out.

The MD tax goes up by 3 cents tomorrow under legislation passed this year. Another raise in tax in July then a final raise in tax text January. We will be in excess of 40 cents a gallon pretty quickly.

On another tax note the county that I live in wants to raise sales tax by 1.1% claiming it will be used to maintain schools. Yeah right and I have a bridge in NYC I want to sell you.
