I'm getting tired of these MFers!

My next door neighbor's cat that was stolen last night off her 94 4Runner. We both came outside around the same time this morning to start up our trucks. She started hers first and it was the tell-tale sound of open headers. I knew immediately what had happened. She got out of her truck and asked if I knew why her truck sounded like that. Unfortunately, I did. I got under the truck, and sure enough, minus one cat. Clean cuts on both sides. I immediately went over to my truck and took a look. Whew! I got lucky. Both of my cats were still there. I told her how to remedy the situation and at least call and make a police report so the local PD knows it's happening in the area.

Between the two households we have 7 dogs and not one of them made a peep last night (mine were in the back bedroom though). Looks like I'll keep my mutts in the front of the house with a window cracked. My female mutt barks at everything in front of the house. Maybe I'll keep an overwatch for a few nights.

Anyone know of a high-temp paint pen that can be used on the cat?

Sorry, this was in Galt, CA.

The other "amusing" thing was, she had left the truck unlocked. With her purse on the seat in plain sight. They didn't bother with it. She commented that "this never happens here". I told her days like that are over, no matter where you live it seems.

That would be fun, but just enough to stun and not be able to run. Then I could use his own saw...

How are these aholes so quiet SAWING off a cat? Maybe they use a hacksaw?
