If you look at the punch count and the way the fighters carried themselves in the ring I have to give the win to Pacquiao.

However like the other two fights it could have gone either way, Marquez is a hell of a fighter. I just hope Mayweather mans up and fights Pacquiao this May.

He did not look at his best in this fight though, I think that has a lot to do with the fact that Marquez' counter punch style of fighting matches up against him really well. Its almost a shame Marquez is getting up there in age, with another fight this could possibly go down as the best rivalry in boxing history.

Marquez. Pac knew he lost, you tell by the look on his face in the post fight interview.

I honestly think Mayweather can beat Paquio now.

I will agrree that pacman wasnt on his game. BUT pac WON, legitimately, he had 2x the successfully landed strikes than his opponent, and won clearly and fairly in points.
blame nacho for telling marquez that he was winning in points, so he started to fight more conservative. Biggest mistake ever.

    Exactly.

To be honest, if you watch their other two fights, which I did today, Marquez out boxed him in both of them. Paq knocking him down 3 times in the first round of fight one got him the draw and the fact that he knocked him down in the second fight got him the win.

Yeah this fight was maybe too close to call but Paq did throw more punches, landed more, and landed more power punches. Besides the little cut on the inside of his lip Paq really wasn't beat up at all, the cut on his eye was from a head butt.

Marquez needed to throw more punches in the last two rounds. It was a good fight, Marquez did well and so did Manny. But to win this fight Marquez had to have knocked Manny down or out.

I don't think he needed to knock him down or out but he needed a better showing to win. I think this was a very fairly judged fight. Paq was the champ going into the fight and Marquez didn't do enough to knock him from the top, I am not saying the fight was swayed because of Manny's reputation, I am saying Marquez didn't do enough to beat him and Manny did just enough to win.

Emmanuel Stewart said it best (In this kind of fight you don't just go in to win ,you go and get it.)It could of gone either way but I am glad it wasn't a draw. How about that UFC fight? I'm glad it was free on Fox!!! Cause 2 paperview fights in one night would of set me back some.
