    $28,000 cash in hand...
cashed a check from a lawsuit settlement.

Spent $14,000 of it that weekend buying ALL new stuff for the living room. 52 inch TV was the 1st item bought ($3000) lol

It was fun, but I actually got tired of spending money that weekend.

Just kept the ramaining cash in a safe place in the house. Fun Fun

A "brick" is 400 troy ounces. A troy ounce currently costs roughly 1,750.
That would make that brick $700k.

Doing the math the price of gold must have been around $814 for it to add up to $325k. That must have been around 2009. Insane price hike for 2 years huh.

it was. would have been a lot simpler to just write a check, but i thought it'd be fun to hand over a stack of green paper. probably the most i'll ever hold at one time.

I had a 60+ yr old lady come in off the bus and pay "cash" for a yukon denali that she had always wanted. It was just over $52k OTD. I had to count it all, TWICE!!!
