See i put a question mark there because I didn't know if it would be good, I have never been in that situation, but I honestly think it would help. At least the kids who picked on him would know he is not afraid to fight back. I think im the only one who thinks this though

I can understand this and I really feel for the guy, I've been there several times. As far as the bulling for up to 7 years goes I have seen it go from 1st grade to 8th grade and the same kids had been picked by the same individuals.

I'm sure the parents know but what can they do? They could send him to a private school but that does not entirely solve the problem.

a verbal confrontation would be better in any situation, not a physical confrontation

The best defense is to NOT allow the person who is the "bully" get inside the victim's head (I.E. not listen) or just ignore them completely. By not giving the "bully" the satisfaction of them getting to you, would ultimately be better. I am all for confronting the "bully" but not physically (as in fighting).

I was bullied in high school, but I never let them get to me (I knew I was better then them, and I would often verbally confront them if they wouldn't stop).

usually people that cut themselves do not cut in places that are very visible. one of my best friends in college used to cut herself a lot and i had no idea until one day she told me. it looked like someone had taken a bullwhip to the insides of her legs man shit was hard to look at.

Not to sound like an ass but .... I think you could benefit from some psychological therapy! You should seriously think about making an appointment. Could be very helpful!!

    Take care.

I was bullied in middle and high school, so I know what this kid is going through, although I wasn't bullied for being gay, I never really knew why it happened. But man, this kid has more balls then I do! Good for him for being brave and not giving up! I'm gonna send his video to ellen degeneres. she is a big anti bullying advocate, and would be glad to get his story out.

That won't end it man, it'll only make it worse.

But if other people, kids that were popular and respected, started to stand up for him… That's a different story.
