Question Cheapest International Shipping?

Hey guys, trying to ship a set of motocross forks to someone in Brazil from Northern CA. The box is 6x6x44" long and weighs prolly 40lbs. What do you suggest I do about shipping? Any recomendations? I am trying to go the cheapest route possible...

Thanks.

I'd say contact DHL, FedEx, UPS and USPS to see how much they cost.

I can get you a quote tomorrow, I work at The UPS Store. I can quote ups and USPS. Ups will be $$$ because it goes air and gets there within a few days. USPS priority international is probably your best bet.

I'll get the quote tomorrow though.

Sweet. Yea I dunno if it's going to work out. Everywhere seems to be 4-500 dollars. But the box is a 6x6x44" box and prolly weighs 30lbs. Leaving from 95945 and going to Brazil.

PS. Why is everything going to Brazil so fast? I mean in most estimators it is showing it getting there in like 3 days. I want more like 3 weeks

I know with UPS, international only goes fast, they don't offer a slow way to get something there. Yeah that's the main problem with that size box for USPS, it makes it expensive, because USPS gets expensive on just about anything bigger than 8x8x8 but they offer slow service internationally which is a nice option.

What city in brazil and what is the postal code there?

can you let all the air out to compress the shocks to make the box way smaller?

Idk, would that kills the seals for that long under pressure? The thing is,is that they are semi-heavy, prolly around 30-40lbs. And everywhere I have been checking, the cheapest I have found was Greyhound Int. at $408.00

Yea dude I feel sorry for ya guys. The girls at my local store said they had like over 50 special packages that still need packaging after closing...that sucks.
