Alright so 2 nights ago I had a few shots and my girl was sober. We were on our way out to the beach and for some reason we got on the subject of marriage. (not between me and her, some of my friends just got engaged) Anyways, I decided it would be a good idea to say "theres probably a 20% chance that i'll ever get married." Right away she snapped back with "well then why are you even trying to be in a relationship right now?" in a not so nice tone. Somehow, i rambled my way out of that one. but last night, she wanted me to go out to this bar/club called the barn. I had to work at 7 so i backed out and said just go out with your friends. at about 3 she updates her facebook status with "Missing him..." then 20 minutes later when i didn't respond to one of her texts (i was sleeping) she posts "I really need to realize what i deserve" but apparently it wasn't refering to me.

Is it just me or does it sound like this girl is trying to get married sometime soon and realizing im not about to do that?

She's 25 i just turned 22. Is 25 the age they start thinking about that?

Theres no real age that women want to get married. Some at 16 others never. Just depends. Realize that if she wants to get married and you don't that things will probably get hairy pretty soon.

There is no age. Sounds like this chick is just nutzo. She wants to hear you're committed to her. But in a crazy stalkerish, emotional needy kinda way.

Well, sounds more like you want FWB and she wants a ring and the whole nine yards.

Not that it's a bad thing it just says you're not on the same page as her. I'm guessing that if you have decided not to marry her (or better, she perceives you will not marry her), she's gonna move on to the next dude with marrying potential.

    So yeah, you're right.

I mean it's not that I don't like her, I just don't see myself getting married in the next 2 years. That's a little young.

Well there is one way to find out. You can talk to her and tell her the truth without trying to scramble. Dont let a communication problem ruin it for nothing

Dude your 22, its understandable you dont want to be married yet. Explain it to her this way and she should understand. If she cant wait a few years than was she really gonna stay around forever anyway?

Glad to know all you boys know how women think.... :D

So shes 25, yeah its gettin about that time (internal clock that is) at age 35-36 its becomes difficult for women to get pregnant the first time also has way higher risks of baby having birth defects, so yeah its probably crossing her mind. It does mine every once in a while.

My "plan" i want to atleast be a with a guy for 5 yrs before any kids show up just to be sure ya know. So with that said, right now that puts me at having a kid at 29 minimum, which leaves 4-5 years to safely have another one if me and said guy choose.
