Glad you like your new job Audi, i wish i could find one. I don't know what to do, my job pays very very well but i think its giving me an ulcer. plus, i'm destined to go bald no matter what, but this job has sped the process up alot. Having the money is nice but i dont know if its worth it. I can afford my truck payments, nice things, i have been able to afford being out of town at the beach or lake or mountains every weekend since i have started, and i'm looking into buying a house in the next year. So thats all great, but i think this job is slowly killing me.... maybe even fastly killing me. The problem is that i was a psych major, so most other jobs out there that i'm qualified for wouldn't pay nearly as much. My last profesional job litterally payed less than half of what i'm making now. I know money isn't everything but it sure is nice. If there are any ladies out there that want to be my sugar mama just let me know... i'll be eye candy as long as you feed me and make my truck payments.... and put out

I wish I had your problem nd, my job doesn't pay well at all, can be very stressful and can be extremely boring too. All in all I hate my job, the only positive here is the stability. I really need a new gig but my soon to be wife wants to go back to school to become an RN and I'm not sure how I'm going to pay for my truck, her car, and our house. I just hope I don't end up having to sell anything.

Sorry all just feeling stressed out and had to whine a little. So if anybody know any science based jobs in the Austin area let me know.

My job now has some security basically because there are very few people in the area that know how to work with and maintain industrial grade AV systems, which is why they throw so much money at me, but the demands are high and i seem to be constantly (and subtley) threatened with losing my job. I am tired of being yelled at for things out of my control or out of the scope of my job description. I catch all kinds of flak for not doing stuff that i'm not qualified for or paid to do. I guess thats big business. i guess they call it "selling out" for a reason....

yeah, Audi, i mean it when i say im happy for you. My previous job was in a psychiatric hospital, 2nd shift and paid 22k. I was tackled, punched, kicked, and choked (although in all fairness i gave as much if not more than i received), but it was not rewarding at all. When people are that far gone there is no "getting better". The only solution is holding them down while they are getting enough sedatives injected into them to put down a horse for 3 days. There is no amount of counseling that will fix the chronically insane. The only real perk to that job was that i could literally fight back, which was very theraputic. Here at GE i would get fired if i threw someone into a wall or tackled someone, at the hospital they would just ask if i was ok afterwards
