I'm proud to be a member of TW but I would ask you to remember how good it feels to help someone and continue to do it in small ways. It's awesome to be a part of a huge group effort but sometimes $5 or $10 can make a big difference as well.

This was an amazing thing to watch from day 1 until today. I guess it just shows what kind of people buy Tacomas.

So glad your brother's family is doing better and coming back from that tragedy. It is really nice to know that TW is a community that is willing to help out fellow members/family in times of need. :woot:

Awesome news about Fred, Chris. Thanks for sharing. And it was great to witness this miracle of rebirth for Jason, Michele and Fred.

Great to hear the good news!! I understand what you mean Chris in your first post. Seems these days most people only care about themselves and could care less about others but just shows you that there are still some good people left on this earth.

I will throw in my .02 worth. This community has taught me so much about my truck that I would not have learned on another site. The interaction I see from other member that need technical help with their Tacoma's is amazing, and a lot of times, downright hilarious.

And the first one usually in the mix, with both his assistance and a funny, smart ass comment is Chris. In addition to the knowledge I have gleaned from this site, I have also had hundreds of LOL's from Chris and many other members.

It is not a surprise that many came to the aid of Jason, Michelle and Fred. We have members on here that manage group buys, gift exchanges, etc. This is not just a forum, it is a family, and a family that I am VERY PROUD to be a member of. I sincerely hope that I get to meet some of you down the road, and have a few laughs and possibly tip a few back.

Best to all of my TW peeps

there is always someone less fortunate in this world than yourself, no matter how bad you "think" you have it, there's someone who would trade places with you in a heartbeat. i try to always remember that. do what you can for others, when you can, with a smile on your face. i am glad i even had the opportunity to help these folks. in a way, they have all done US the favor, because karma is a boomerang.

oh, and was anyone else shocked to see chris correctly spell "cliche?":proposetoast:

x2. It is a great feeling to help someone out. I have a hard time saying no to stuff like this because I put myself in the other persons shoes and know any help would be needed. I am very glad we had so many people step up and help out.

Great Job TW!!! Good karma will come!

:woot: so glad to hear fred is on his way home!! it will make the rest of the journey of cleaning up and getting back on their feet so to speak that much easer!!

like others said this site is more like a family than a truck forum!

we give each other BS. about wear you live or what ever. i think this site has made me pee my pants a timer or 2 from LMAO so hard. i know i have had tears in my eyes before. but everyone helps everyone out when they need something no madder WHAT IT IS!

when i got on here(just like everyone els) i never thought a truck forum could be so helpful(and addicting) and have such great people on it!
