    nothing cool
2.54% for 60 mo. I was pretty happy with it. I can make online payments and see a pie chart on how much I still owe. (i think it's cool considering my last bank loan was a small local bank and I had to call them a couple years into it and see how much I still owed)

I financed b/c, while my 720 score wasn't bad, it was based on smaller purchases. That shows responsibility, but not enough for a $500k loan in the future for a home, especially in this nutty economic climate. Oddly, some credit is good credit to have.

toyota was offering 2.9% on used vehicles

I said, what the hey that makes a truck a bit cheaper.

Since when does a car company's finance arm cover it's own used stuff?

In 2000 I bought a 98 Tacoma Limited at 16%. I had NEVER had credit before. Tripled my payments for 3 months and then refinanced at 5% . In 2007 bought an 07 Tundra at 5%. In 2011, bought an 08 at 4.5%

Why yes, yes it did. Housing crash and banks not working with me resulted in a foreclosure. So I used the truck to get my three credits scores back above 700.

I was asking about interest rates because the two dealers that I went to when looking for my truck, actually told me not to get financing through them on a Tacoma because they had no good offers and just about any bank could beat what they could offer regardless of my credit score. They said if I wanted a Camry or other sedan they could get me 0.9% financing, but no deal on Tacomas. But it seems that others here have gotten good rates from their dealers on Tacomas. More reasoning why I dislike my local dealers, they said the Tacoma is so popular we don’t and won’t go out of our way to give deals or financing incentives, they sell themselves.

No one said it out loud, but I got the “you’re an ass look” from a few, combination of work related stuff and some stupid people not knowing how to read road signs…

    -

My apologies for my unfounded rant against you and for making TW listen to it. I was taking the internet a little too seriously yesterday, on top of being an ass for no reason.

Nice red truck by the way, one of my favorite colors, I wish Toyota would release a mix of a burnt orange / red color to be honest.
