Some burned down cabins, and old creepy outdoor church or something. There were 4 wooden benches all facing a wooden podium all looked very old and worn. All found in the Bighorn Mountain Wilderness in Wyoming.

When I was 13 my friend and I used to walk over to a park in the suburbds of Los Angeles. There was an open/hilly/ravine area and every time we would walk by it would smell HORRIBLE. This went on for over a week. My friend joked that the smell was a dead body. So he dared me to walk off the trail and check it out.

About 10 feet off the trail I saw a leg covered on blue jeans and a shoe. We ran over to some city work crews close by and told them. A worker walked over and sure enough it was a dead body.

The dead man had been shot somewhere else and dumped there. Probably been there about 2-3 weeks.

Atv riding here a few years ago and saw this chimney sticking up. We went over and looked around, there was flowers growing everywhere. We came back a metal detector a few days later. I found this old mason jar. Picked it up and and was full.....of.....Old metal marbles. I thought i had found a old money stash.

When I was 17 out riding with my cousins on our old 3-wheeled atvs, found an old sawed off shotgun with a chopped stock--a bit pitted and rusty. After a few days soaking in some Hoppe's, it fired but nearly tore our wrists off. My uncle still carries it in his ranch truck to kill snakes.

Also, when I was 9 or 10, found a metal tin with some marijuana buried under a rock pile way out on the back of our property. My older sister took it from me... :rasta:

Like a couple other folks here, found a few arrowheads, etc. I envy you guys who live out east who have the opportunity to find some civil war stuff.

Back when I lived in Vermont when I was a teenager we had an archeologist come to our house saying he was looking for ancient indian caves built into the mountain. He had pictures of some he had found nearby and they were pretty cool, kind of like a rock igloo built into a rock face. We searched the 88 acres of mountain behind our house but never did find any. We did find an old rock foundation though out in the middle of nowhere at the top of the mountain.

There is this place where I used to spend a lot of time hunting and just being around when I was younger. There is a totem pole up there that looks like it has been there for a LONG TIME... I haven't been up there in a few years now though. If I remember, I will head up there this spring/summer if I go home and take a couple pics.

OEM running boards and roof rack. Yellow fog bulbs and WeatherTech mats and window visors.
Mesa Verde was pretty cool. We found a dirt bike on time that wound up being stolen from about 20 miles away, there was an old abandoned girl scout camp that was pretty much picked clean aside for some decorative brick and shot gun shells.

Save the coordinates for you're fellow Cali folk! There's all kinds of stuff down here in the glades, found vehicles, bones, wood's people, school buses out in the middle of nowhere. There's a cool shelter and a well way out on a horse trail. As far as finding stuff my mom and uncles found some bones to a giant sloth when there housing development was going up, pretty cool stuff.
