    I have to two children, both in middle school. I get a phone call from the school at 14:30 saying that my youngest (8) is acting up. I asked the normal questions. I found out that he did not want to do his reading today so he decided to protest. I am thinking " ok , and" the teacher informs me the problem was the way he was protesting. I asked again the normal parent questions. He ( my son) was sitting with his legs crossed on the top of the desk, and this was not tolerated by the teacher. I was like ok. He thinks he is at a Native American Pow wow or something. Note to others, dont' let kids watch breakfast club. lol I was surprised he didnt fall. Darn kids give me gray hair..But I love them.:)

    As a teacher I can tell you that, while the teacher felt obligated to call, they were probably secretly laughing their ass off. When any of my children do ridiculous things, I usually have a good laugh about it (after letting the parents know). Of course, I teach 5/6 year olds so shenanigans happen more frequently. lol
