That's awesome! Good for him. He'll probably get ridiculed pretty bad for it by the public but it's good to see a parent not letting their kid get away with shit like that.

I was going to post this in the Funny Video thread but was beat to it. +1 for good parenting I hate to see kids posting on their social networking sites ragging on their parents when all they ask of them is to help out around the house a little bit. Although if I were the father I might have sold the laptop to recoup the money I lost in doing the upgrade to the computer but it wouldn't have had the same effect.

good on his part! I'd of done the same thing, but took her phone and shot it as well. Bratty kids these days..Im young, but work damn hard for everything I own.

 

It probably would have been a good idea but odds are that it was perfectly legal to shoot in his own back yard like that as long as he's not shooting at a house, car, etc (Being stupid about it)

That is true it also really helps to drive home the point that he is trying to make.

 

My wife showed me this last night. Good on him - not just letting his kids run wild and get away with anything, like most parents I know do.

Not too harsh. If my dad had found something that disrespectful that I had written, it would have been a lot, lot worse.

 

My hat's off to him, not too many parents left these days that would do something like that. I'm still young but I work for everything I own and try not to rely on my parents for anything, even though they'd be more than happy to assist me. If my parents found out that I posted something like that on Facebook, I'd be more than likely kicked out.
