    American-sized Japanese SUV

Under the camouflage, we're able to see two different trim levels, the SR5 and the upgraded "Limited" version (see photo captions). Codenamed 200L, the all-new Sequoia is based on the new and larger Tundra platform and will grow in size to compete with Tahoe-sized family utes. The Sequoia will likely offer the same 4.7-liter and 5.7-liter V8 engines that can be found in the new Tundra.
Production is expected to begin this coming December and we'll probably see the Sequoia's first public introduction next year at the Chicago Auto Show, with sales starting shortly afterwards. It is still unclear if the new Sequoia will be carry the 2008 or 2009 model year designation.
