My girl doesn't like my obsession with my truck and the fact that I mod it and spend so much money on it. She is into full sized trucks more cuz she thinks they are more manly and sexy. So whenever we drive by one or she sees one while she is riding with my in the Tacoma she just goes oh sexy... yeah makes me feel a lot better about myself and my truck :p

My S.O. wants me to convert it to a biodiesel. I would if I had the cash.
But anytime I talk about getting new parts.. especially that beautiful doug thorley header, everything gets a bit mum.. apparently I am the worst person, spewing all of those horrible emissions. blah blah blah.

oh yeah, and the fact that I can't buy luxury groceries at whole foods very often, but if I have spare cash
I will save it all for some expensive mods. Like when I got my Toyo Open mountain M/T tires.. damn, that was bittersweet.

I had an 08 Civic SI which I spent a lot of money on. My wife HATED it. I told her when I traded it in for my Tacoma that the mods would stop. Then I found TW.
(also, I divide all my purchased by 2 and that's the price I tell her)

My wife is pretty cool about my sickness. She's not a fan of me spending the money but she loves the end result. I only spend tax money and Per Deim checks so she cant say shit about it. I bought her a Yukon with my Iraq money. All in all she is pretty supportive.

We have our ONE account together for bills/mortgage/groceries/etc. After that, we have separate accounts. It's fantastic.

Meh, she's somewhat annoyed by it, but she likes the stuff that I have done so far...all because of this forum :)

She did tell me that I'm not allowed to put a lift on it though :(

Ex loved my truck, bought me stuff for it. Aries bull bar... helped me clean it occasionally. It was awesome.
New "girls" think its cool but none of them help me clean it so they dont work out HAHA
Friends hate my truck cause its all I talk about. BUT when we road trip and go places they dont say shit cause im driving.
Parents think im absolutely nuts. Say im putting to much time and money into the truck and all im doing is devaluing it.... TW is the way to go... Theres so many other members with the same obsession it must be the right way... RIGHT? Regardless I can always invest more time and money and go back to stock for them. That'll show em
