Valentines day blows!!

Road goes both ways. Situations are always different. Maybe they were both miserable but she didn't want to pay for the divorce?

Some people just don't do well married. My ex husband and I get along much better now! We were best friends while dating - once we got married we did NOTHING! Well he played xbox... Couldn't get him to do anything else. But he couldn't get me to get naked after a while either. I got tired of giving and not receiving - gets old quickly.

But by god i'm INSANELY happy now! lol (I filed for the divorce - paid for it - let him keep everything except my bed, car, and a tv.. I even took the smallest tv)

Don't think many "deserve" a divorce. It just happens and in most cases is the best for both parties. No one is innocent of all actions that happened within the marriage!

The average person spends ~$130 on Valentines day. I want to know who the Fucking idiots are spending that much or more.

 

My wife is a Serious Romantic. I do the Valentines Day yearly though it's not my favorite day. She loves the Flowers,Diamonds and Dinner. This year she took me by surprise and asked for Weathertech Floor mats for her Rav4............. How could deny her ?

 

So all it takes is a plane ticket and a Audie? Sounds easy enough. lol

 

My girl doesnt believe in Vday.. we have celebrated it in the past but nothing big.. I still planned something this year but not romantic! My valenties day present to her is going to the SHOOTING RANGE!! its something we have both been wanting to do and never done before! Exciting Fun out of the norm and daily routine and even out of the valentine day flower norm as well..

I hate it too, mainly because I don't have a girl to share it with...Only good thing that is happening is that it is snowing right now! Hopefully we actually get enough so I can really test the 4x4 on my truck in something real!

We were married 20 years in December and I do not think I ever gave her a dozen roses on Valentine Day.

I agree that Valentines day is bogus. My fiance doesn't care for it either, so no dinner for us tonight and she wants an orchid instead of roses. Plus we got the night off Sunday from our daughter and celebrated by going to a massage place that rents outside hot tubs.

I don't see why everyone is bitching. At least your birthday isn't on Valentines Day. "Oh you are so lucky your birthday is on Valentines Day!" No bitch, it sucks.

Luckily for me my gf doesn't buy into Valentines Day either. She told me not to get her anything (which is fine by me) but I ended up getting her a one hour hot stone massage for $50 and some flowers. I find it is best to do something for the girl anyways even if they don't want anything. Basically, you can just "justify" spending all your money and time on your truck year round in one day.

 

I gave my wife a nice card, nothing more. After each of us went through shitty marriages and have spent the last 15 years together completely happy and content it was no big deal. She's my best friend.......that and she's hot as hell.
