    1. Anothe view of Pearl in 04
    2. The Arizona as she lays today.
If you ever get the chance to go to the Memorial, you'll not regret it. A very moving experience. Words cannot describe the feeling you have as you stand there. The slow leaking of oil that still flows from her hull is visible.

Not only should we not forget, but it would be good to enlighten younger people who may not realize the impact of the day.

One of my more memorable assignments during my days in journalism was the photographing survivors of Pearl Harbor ceremony. I always asked for this, and offered to work a weekend day if need be.
It was truly memorable assignment, year in and year out. God bless them all.

I'm wearing my official USS Arizona shirt I picked up at Pearl several years ago.
I was deeply honored to have served alongside the USS Missouri in wartime (Desert Storm) and attending her decommissioning ceremony in 1992 in Pearl Harbor.
    I will never forget.

Pearl is a must see for anyone going to Hawaii. And the sub museum next door. I went back in the 90's.

My Dad passed through pearl a few days before the bombing on his way to Guam / Iwo Jima.

One thing that was interesting about that trip, there was a Japanese Navy ship docked right next to us looking out over the Arizona Memorial. They performed their morning colors viewing the Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri.
