    Alright so I already have a lab pit mix. His name is gnarly and he is a boss. He's my duck dog and now me and my girlfriend decided to get another one. We are going tonight to pick one up.     I have two Labs currently, brothers same litter, black and brown.

    I went with Zues and Apollo, from the old Magnum PI Tom Selleck TV show, the guard dogs that Higgins owned.

    My three Labs in the past were chocalote, so Brock, Whitman, and Hershey.

    Amazing that one of them lived to see 16, the others all over 12 years.

    That pup looks good! Name him Duck!

    Could always go with Dog! From the John Wayne movie Hondo based on Louis L'Amour's book.

    With that dogs markings Socks fits, but kind of catish.

    I like the male from the pics best, Knuckle would fit.

    Once you chose between the male or female, you have a little time to decide, start using a name around 7 weeks, they will respond like clock work to it at eight weeks.

    Good to to let them social with their litter close to that 8 weeks, does wonders for their ability to adapt to people and dogs down the line.

    Man you gave me the puppy itch... but my Labs are eatting my house as it is...

    A local 'round here was on the witness stand being grilled by a lawyer. Seems he was being sued for harassing a neighbor trying to get him to move out. So the lawyer plays a video that shows the local guy screaming "Hey cocksucker" repeatedly. When the lawyer asked why he was calling his client such a vulgar name over and over again the local said "I was calling for my dog. His name is cocksucker!" The judge couldn't keep a straight face.
