    There's not really much we CAN do unless we have reason to believe that there is someone tied up in the basement...in which case we need to get a search warrant

    A triangulated 911 hang up from a cell phone doesn't really give us justification to kick in doors and search a house

    At the same time...unfortunately...many officers do not take these calls very seriously because more often than not...it's not a REAL emergency going on

    we get them all the time, and its usually either kids playing on the phone or an argument between lovers and 1 is calling the cops because theyre mad...not because theyre in danger

    IN a situation like that do LEO`s just ask can we look around or is it only when their is some sort of justification to do so?
