    Lots.
    It takes a lot. A lot of learning skills. You have to be a leader or you won't advance. Have to know how to work with others. Going through all the ranks is easy until getting to trying to earn eagle. Only 2% of boy scouts earn the rank of eagle so when it happens it's a big deal.

    EDIT: Oops 5% earn the rank. Still not a lot.
