It was mentioned, (Or your choice for the best 2010 American Muscle car in this price range. The 2010 Corvette C7 doesn't count....to BADASS and way out of price range!)

Somewhere in the $40k - $45k to be specific...

    Its a bicycle.
i am/was a chrysler guy. dodge makes some trannies so good ford buys them to put them in their superduties...

on the otherhand dodge makes trannies like my tourqueflite999... which has 3 speeds... torqueslow, justslow and RERERERERERERERERERERERRER-gruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh.

i go for the camAro, since its is easily the best design of the 3. i wanna say challenger... but those cars are sloppy as hell.(though they still handle better than a mustang!)

Im a fan of both camaro blocks, though i personally want a black/white stripes SS model, leave the sweet V6 to be built by the ricer guys!

No need to worry about the tranny. Challenger uses the Mercedes made Nag Transmission and german IRS rear end, so is it still considered american muscle?? Im in the middle, love the camaro and the challenger, Even like the small changes they made to the mustang

Hey TRD4x4858, since you have experience with both, particularly with the 2008 Challenger, would you mind being the research guy for the test. The test being, when your local Chevy guy gets a Camaro SS (we don't care what color), go take it for a serious test drive, ya know...run it and brake it hard. Really give it an opened minded appraisal and compare it to your Challenger. Your the professional mechanic and will see things the rest of us might miss. Then get back to us with your honest opinion as to which is the better buy. I like the looks of both, and part of me wants to be the first guy "on my block" with a new Camaro, but not at the cost of it being an inferior machine. Whata ya say?
