Only one thing takes alcohol out of your system... time.
Approximately 1 hour per ounce of hard liquor or 12oz beer.

And 5-10 drinks over a 2-5 hour period is "stupid drunk"

200lb person takes 2-3 drinks to hit the legal limit.
1 drink per hour can maintain.

It's nothing to fuck around with.
I did 25 years ago... cost me a LOT of money and nearly a job.
