LOL, once you read and follow the steps one by one it really is simple
:goingcrazy: Make sure you know terinology and the steps before you do!
Get ATK(Advanced Task killer). While the ap is hidden it is still in use, so you have to kill it to make it stop running, saving battery. So yes is the answer.

No. Only when you actually browsing. Also don't use a task killer. It will kill your battery. Android is set up to open your apps quickly. Think of your apps like board games. The ones you use you all the time you keep upstairs, the ones you don't you keep in the basement. Android software does this with your apps so they are easily and quickly available. They don't shut down completely but are at a type of hibernation. If you kill the apps it takes longer to boot them when you want them and thus drains your battery quicker.

That might be why it's draining more then. I've left it hidden and left it awhile.
With the advance task killer will it leave it logged on and keep my alerts on?

Not a good app. If you do a little resaerch on task killers you'll see why.

I dont think it so much that the task killer itself is the problem. But the phone having to fully start all theses app every time you want to use them.

But to each there own. This is just my .02 on these

Another way to conserve battery is to turn off auto brightness. Set the brightness manually at the lowest setting that you can handle and keep it there.

I honestly never noticed it ring slower to start, and IMO it seemed to just be faster to start them all over again, which was annoying for browser, but for games it was handy

I love it just wish it would hold a charge longer. What about weatherbug that keeps the temp at the top of screen?

I don't ever use weatherbug. The stock clock widget has weather built into it. It's set to update every 30 min on my phone. Hasnt seemed to be a problem.
