I have been using the facebook app for my android and I guess apparently it uses 41mb of memory for that one app, at least that's what it says under my running app tab. Am I right about that? Is that too much for it to use?

If so I am considering try the social widget app that was already in my phone when I got it.

Are you noticing any decrease in performance or something? I wouldn't worry about it if you're not.

Not really, the only thing I have noticed lately is when I first hit my facebook app it will take a thought before it will start scrolling the screen.

My fb app has been on the fritz lately. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It is getting on my nerves big time.

At least it's not just mine that's doing it. Mine worked fine since I got my phone back in November of last year but it's started this within the last week or two and it gets on my nerves as well I have to hit my app and wait wait then scroll if I try to scroll immediately it just sits there and that's the only app doing that and when I saw it was using that much RAM I didn't know if I should uninstall it, my Google service doesn't use that much RAM.

Do you use the social networking widget? It was already on one of my screens when I got the phone, but it's under Motorola widgets.
