Definitely not a brown recluse. They're thick here. If someone needs to see a dead one I can go pull one of any of the sticky traps in my home and photograph one.

wolf spiders dont make traditional webs, they make funnels that they hide in so they can strike when something goes by.

holy shit dude you have those brown recluse spiders in your house:eek:

are you aware what they can do to you? i have seen and heard of cases where your flesh is rotting out of nowhere years later after being bitten and getting over the initial tissue loss and trauma. those spider scare the fucking shit out of me. lol their bite is the gift that keeps on giving :(

I don't care what kind of spider it is, But I would make it a DEAD one. Went to kill a spider the other day, ended up breaking my GF large picture frame because the spider fell from the ceiling onto me, I freak out and knocked the picture off the wall. never saw the spider again. I'm afraid to go into the kitchen now.

Yeah man, I grew up in a 100 yr old farmhouse in rural MO. I've swatted spiders off me at night on several occasions in a panic, turned on the lights and ID'd a recluse. The key is to brush, not slap. They get real active between about 10pm and midnight.

They really are not aggressive. No one in my family ever got bit until about 5 years ago when my mom got bit in the leg. Took 2 minor surgeries to take care of it.
