when I had jury duty, I sat next to two hot chicks during selection...one gave me a dirty look, apparently she found me repulsive. that made it all worthwhile for me.

Best way to get out of Jury duty is to tell them you are an NRA member. I told them that, and I havent been called in 15 years.

Here in AZ, they make you empty your pockets. :( The NRA thing worked GREAT for me. The trial I was schedualed for had this dude who looked EXACTLY like Mr. Mioggy (from Karati Kidd), and he was facing Bomb charges. Good thing I was excused, 'cause I think he was Guilty anyways.

I've heard all the tricks about not getting selected, my prior history in law enforcement will probably exclude me.

I wanted to not have to not have to report (I know its my duty blah blah) but I work the night shift and they want me to show up at 9am-5pm in the middle of my work week, I'm going to be all screwed up. Here there are rules about when your employer can have you work before/after and my work pays during jury duty, so I'm going to talk to my boss this week and see what I have to do :(.

My BF got 2 notices last year and never went, I'm not willing to risk it.
