Any body collect or have collected cards over the years? I have about 6 huge 3 ring binders full of Basketball and Baseball cards over the years that i have collected. Mostly between 94-2002 years of Jordan, shaq, pippen, and all the big names then. I've just got em out the other day to see if any of them are worth much and found most of them are going on ebay for $3-6. Even though that isn't to much, when you have well over 1,000 cards who knows? Anybody else have any? And if so, would you sell them and where at?

I've been an avid sports card collector since i was 10 years old, mostly baseball cards. Unless you have rarer rookie cards in your binders, probably not much value there. I'd take them to a local card shop to have them loook at them- if you have anything in value, they'll make you an offer. If they tell you it's overproduced stuff & next to worthless, it's most likely true.
In the basketball market, it seems that only big time rookies, like the 86 Fleer Jordan or a 96 Topps Chrome Kobe, have a value nowadays. When you can pick up a Charles Barkley or Shaq rookie card for $2-3 bucks, that tells you something. Even today, there are LeBron rookie cards that only book $10. Of course, he has about 500 rookie cards, and some do sell for thousands, depending on rarity and demand. I do know there has been a recent spike in demand for mid-90s Michael jordan insert cards, not sure why, but if you have some of those, they might be worth a few bucks to someone.

    good luck!!

Back when I was a kid, I had something like 150 Pokemon cards. My cousin gave me 350 of his, so I had 500. I don't remember how, but somehow I got up to over 1,100 cards. Saving them until they are worth something.
