i dont know... but i check out other tacomas... and i notice them a lot more now that i own one. i just got back from the US virgin islands last week, and there is a ridiculous amount of tacomas down there. first thing i see when i come off the plane was a jacked up 1st gen on no smaller than 35" tires. i said sweet... then through out the rest of my trip they are all over the damn place (st. croix) is very mountainous, and i guess the tacoma is the truck of choice down there, good choice. very few sport packaged tacos, but a shit ton of off road equipped.

today while at work... i parked next to a tacoma. 05-10. im guessing it was an SR5 model, didnt see the sport or OR decals. black double cab, had some BBS wheels on it with lower profile tires. after the meeting everyone was released to return back to their units (military base) i got in my truck, started it up, waited like a minute for it to warm up and while waiting the other tacoma owner returns to his and i see him grilling my truck down. he parked straight in i back in to the parking spot. i did the fog light mod so i had the DRL on and the fog lights (they are yellowed) i really like how it looks. as he walks by he peers into the driver side window, i also have my front windows tinted so he couldnt really look in.

i mean this isnt some really expensive truck, nor is it really a saught after truck, but i guess taco owners really appreciate the truck. maybe saying to themselves, "yeah they know whats up" ha

y'all check out other tacos? im not gonna lie.. i always look at them

i drive past the 2wd 4cyl regular cab, and i think... aww thats so cute.
then again... tundra owners probably say the same thing when they drive past tacomas. :goingcrazy:

Me and my girlfriend went to eat at red lobster a few weeks back on a sunday afternoon and when we were finished we walked outside and there next to my 03 sat a 00-04 with a mild lift, rims, and tool boxes in the back. Looked like it was used for work and play. Funny thing is there were empty spots everywhere but he parked next to me. After we left i found myself wondering who it was, if i might have noticed who might have been driving it. Wierd i think.

Ha Ha, not only do I check out other Tacomas, but I will park next to them on purpose, because I think the owner of the one next to mine won't door ding me.

I check every 1st gen Tacoma I see.... (and most 2nd gens).

Since i'm in the hunt for tires, i find myself checking the tires to see what size they are. I think this freaks people out at night when i'm shining a light on their tires. I think they think i want to steal their rims or something.

My wife always tells me I'm being a creeper when I check out other tacomas. She claims noone else is as creepy as I am. This thread proved to her I'm not the only one. Woot!!

there are no doubts in my mind that when you own one, you become proud of it. Vehicles are like dogs.. they become an extension of who we are.

I take it a step further and even try to park by the lifted tacoma someone owns at my work. I think it looks awesome with the two together. Probably kind of wierd but I like it.

I do all the time. If they look I'll give them the Toyota "props" finger point. It never fails though, every time by boyfriend drives my truck we see tons of nice Tacos and they check us out. I drive...nobody looks. Occasionally people will come up while I'm at a gas pump or something to compliment my truck. Problem is that they always go to my boyfriend and tell him "his truck is sweet". He's always like "umm it's hers not mine." Then they're always shocked it's mine lol.

I check out every customized Toyota truck/runner.

Park next to tacoma...gotta represent (not japan but the truck)
Look for new ideas...unique things...bumpers, racks etc.
