Tonight I'm am going to prison! My cousin and I are being locked inside Mansfield reformatory. It is a retired prison that is supposedly HAUNTED! We will be locked in from 8pm till 6am. This prison has been investigated on popular tv shows like ghost adventures and ghost hunters. Not sure that I believe in ghost but tonight may change that. Do you believe or have you ever had an experience? I will update with any discoveries.

I'd be more worried about rats and running into bums that are high on spice and might eat your face off.
Good luck and take lots of pictures!

Why are you doing this? Are you writing a paper, TV show, community service, etc? Just curious, seems like I'd have to have a purpose before locking myself in prison for a night.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
I believe there are such things as ghost, but I believe 99.9% of the stories that you hear are fabricated from people's own imagination and distortion of reality caused by fear. I stayed in a haunted cottage where people I know very well have stayed and have experienced encounters. My brother for one is not one to make it up and tell lies, and he knew nothing of it to be haunted before hand. So that being said, I stayed there, almost in anticipation of something, needless to say 3 nights of nothing. Many peoplehave stayed there and experiencedthings, maybe I was too excited to see anything.

Prison: Yes, I believe although I've only ever been in county lock up twice. And right.....like I'd tell the stories even if there were any. BTW, no conviction upon trial.

Ghost: No & no at least not in the pop culture way of thinking. BUT, I want to hear your stories!

Very cool...we did this last year at TALA, Trans Allegany Lunatic Asylum in north central WV.

Keep camera flash equipment to a minimum, get some sleep first and HAVE fun.

This is where they filmed the Shawshank Redemption.

Subbed for your findings. I watch the shows and they interest me but I have a hard time actually believing it.
