RG3 will get it. Andrew Luck probably deserves it more. I'd say Luke Kuechly deserves it more than both of them, but ROTY only cares about offensive players.

I'd say RG3 offensive and Kuechly defensive.

RG3 is sick. He gets it in my book. Only 5 picks all year that's great for a rookie.

He's a definite talent, but Luck is winning more and with less help. That's key.

How does luck deserve it more than RG3?? RG3 number two in QB rating luck is 31st in the league, lets say if RG# had half as many interceptions as Luck the skins would be a two win team at best! O and RG3 has rushed for almost 800 yards double the amount wilson has. Also RG3 has more passing yards than wilson so... i don't see how Wilson is even in the talk. So it comes down to the luck who has 26 TDS 18 INt QB rating of 75.6 VS rg3 26 TDS 5 Int QB rating of 104.1?? Can it get anymore obvious??

Andrew Luck's rookie passing record should get him the Rookie of the Year award.
It would be interesting to break down how many of those passes have been received by rookies. Hilton, Allen, Fleener, Ballard, Brazil. We're looking at the start of some pretty stellar careers here.
    Colts fan rant over.

That being said, the playoffs will probably determine who gets this, and Wilson has the best shot in the playoffs with that solid of a team around him. Also, if RG3 can beat the Cowboys on Sunday, anything can happen from there.

I don't have high hopes for the Colts in the playoffs.

O and if your only debate for luck is he wins more.. lets be honest they will both end 10-6 after this sunday!! And he is doing this with a team that has not hosted a playoff game since 1999 Come on that colts team Manning had in the bowl a few years ago. RG3 had 18 Int's on the season with the redskins D they would probably be playing for there first win this week!!

I wish they'd make different awards for each position, to be honest, so people OTHER than QBs could get some fucking recognition for excellence.

Casey Heyward with INTs, top of the league playmaker. Nobody outside of the NFC Norris knows him. You should.

    Kuechly too. He's flat-out ballin'.

How about Mark Barron or Harrison Smith?

And those are just on defense.

But ... no. Give it to a QB. Again. *sigh*

Passing yards? come on Stafford has thrown for 4700 yards this season... when you throw the ball almost 100 more times than wilson and RG3 you better have more yards! How about RG3 breaking the rookie rushing recored for a QB that doesn't mean anything? O and wilson in this talk you must be talking about the last 6 weeks b/c he has only had half a season those first 9,10 games were terrible!

Really? Wilson has 5 more td's than RG, only a couple hundred yards less passing, almost the same completion percentage and a 7-0 home record with what, 1 interception at home? I'll trade cam for wilson right now.

I agree with you man it's "BS" that it seems to always go to a QB all the fans want to see is TD's and big plays. As a true fan of football I would love to see a D guy get more respect for what they have done on the season Kueckly having over 150 tackles on the season is no surprise to me he is one BAMF who runs a 4.4 :)

well duh you will trade cam for wilson... Wilson can spell his name Cam can't! But besides the point all you said in your post was how he has almost the same amount... Just came up a bit short maybe if he showed up the first half of the season he would be in the debate. U forgot to mention is QB rating where Wilsons compared to RG3's? BTW home recored has nothing to do with this talk. I will give that one to the fans :)

Andrew Luck. He took that team from 2-14 to the playoffs. All with the pressure and expectations of a #1 pick and successor to Peyton Manning. He gets my vote. Russell Wilson a very close 2nd.
