Declined Health insurance, what to do?

I have applied to three different health companies (Kaiser, Blue Cross, and Pacificare).

They all turned me down because I have a pre-existing condition (No lateral meniscus on my right knee).


What can I do, since it seems all will turn me down?

 

is moving to Canada an option?

 

Find a health insurance company that doesn't require pre-screening.

 

Hi, I am sorry to hear about your issue. I did a little searching but I think you do have some protections, I just don't know what they are. I think it vary's from state to state. Anyway here is a snippet from a site I found.

Well, sure, I guess you have to discover what the law is in your state and under HIPAA.

Do a little searching and you may want to contact your state to see if they can provide guidance.
