is it considered "file sharing" or illegal if somebody has video editing software that they gave to me as well so i could download it on my computer?

the reason i ask is i have a gopro and the cineform studio it comes with barely lets you do anything.

im looking for something that lets me edit, add music, effects, you know, the whole 9 yards and is still easy to use.

if you have software like this and its NOT illegal to send to me, would anybody mind helping a tacoma owner out?

It's fine to give someone I think as long as its not a 1-use license. The owner can't sell it while still using it though. Mac software shares great between computers if its a multiuser license.
