    I feel your pain. I lost my black lab, Dakota in May at 13 years. Just could not go without a dog. October 1, we got another lab puppy. Nothing could ever replace Dakota, but Joey certainly puts an awful lot back in that hole.

    Sorry for your loss... I know you're hurtin'. I came home from work yesterday and my son had taken our dog to the park and it was weird not being greeted at the door, tail wagging, insisting on being petted and taken outside. When we lost our previous dog that was always the worst part of the day... the coming home to an empty house.
