I have a bunch of plaid shirts, just ordered one from cabelas, and kind of dissapointed in the quality. It sounded like it would be a nice weight, but its nothing more then a dress shirt. Where do you, if you wear it, get it from?

I bought some from a local shop, similar to Tractor Supply Co. All my plaid is flannel and I usually only wear them under a heavy coat if I need to dress in layers.

Isn't flannel the thick/heavier version of plaid?

As far as I'm concerned, flannel should be the only version of plaid...

As far as I'm concerned plaid should just go away all together. :)

My problem is i can't wear a heavy coat while driving, never could.

I'd just like one mid weight shirt i can wear, and be warm. I bought a nice lined flannel shirt way back from dicks sporting goods. Its my go to shirt for everything. I can't find that shirt there again.

I'm the same way, and also the reason I dress in layers. I hate wearing a coat when I'm driving. LL Bean does sell some nice flannel shirts, Carhart does also.

I know most people wouldn't wear these but eff it... Mine are Harley shirts. Some of the heaviest duty thickest shirts I've ever bought but expensive as hell. You can get some that don't have much advertising on them too.

    You mean Dan the comedian?

Hopefully a noose around his neck.

I can't stand that guys brand of humor. It's one thing to be a real red neck, its another thing to be a fake red neck because your original plan didn't work.

If you can find an outlet, the prices are awesome. $70.00 shirt for ~20.00.
