That's more or less luck of the draw for you since you're in the military haha

I on the other hand make ~$29,000 working 10 hours a day, 6 days a week, and 3 different shifts. So 60 hour work weeks haha

But I'm also only E-3, so there's that.

Yea agreed. I can speak from experience. My dad is an oil guy. Does 2weeks on and 2 off. More like 13days home though due to travel. He missed A LOT of my stuff and my siblings. What is cool is when he is home he is there all day. But definitely some not good things.

Ah, hard to tell since it says your a medic in the Air Force under your avatar haha

6 figures would be nice, but I don't feel like being deployed for 10 months out of every year haha I'm not even sure whether or not I'm staying in though.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I haven't decided whether or not it's good for me in the long run.

I'm worried that I'll have a family before my enlistment is up and not want to get out just to keep the benefits for my family.

I love my job, but wouldn't mind if I could do it out of the military. Only problem is that most of my options on the outside are deployed for 10 months or in D.C....

Done with everything but the conclusion on my paper, so far it's only 400 words (supposed to be 12-1500 I think) but it'll work.

    I'm a 1U051.

Yeah, I'm glad I joined. Just don't know if it's a 20 year commitment for me.

If I wouldn't have joined I wouldn't have gotten to meet the people I have or do all of the awesome stuff I did in New Mexico. I think I just need to PCS to Vegas or New Mexico and I'll stay in haha

I'll definitely look into reserve or guard before I get out. Only problem is that guard is only in Tennessee... Actually I just remembered there's a guard unit in California... Interesting... :spy:
