It's totally understandable for them to want 50% up front. I wouldn't go into someone's home and do major surgery only to have them stiff me in the end. Working in the construction business, homeowners or rather residential work is notorious for that sort of thing. Regarding the price, I have no idea if that's fair or not, maybe get a couple more quotes and see for yourself?

I can only offer 2 pieces of advice, get multiple quotes, and whomever you go with get a written contract.

I wouldn’t let the 50% upfront throw you, for a smaller business it’s not that uncommon, if you get a written agreement that outlines that half is paid upfront “if” they were to rip you off it would make a court case much easier.

My cousin ran one for a little while before going with the inspire and now he has a full “industrial” setup from DJI, I’m happy with the 3 even though it’s a little older.

    Buy a used karma.

Or, since the Mavic 2 line came out you can find used Mavic pro’s around 5-600

Biggest thing I noticed is that the gimbal isn’t completely level. Find yourself a spot that’s perfectly level and recalibrate the Gimbal. I have the same issue, but for me it’s way more noticeable. Mines tilted left a solid 8-10°

Will do, thank you, I’m too drawn into the flying feeling to notice that it wasn’t level, usually stuff like that bothers me.

I have a GoPro 3 I think, haven’t used it in years but between the GoPro and phantom I could put together a pretty cool video.

Ah yes as expected the bushings were seized to the camber sleeve but we got the bolts out. Then had to do a little cutting..now waiting till tomorrow to take the LCAs pressed out and new ones in..

hmmm seems I’ve been searching the wrong key words in order to find this thread. There’s a teens, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s thread but no 20’s:rofl: didn’t think to search “under” 30’s

Well, I’m over 30 now and it’s been awhile since I’ve been on here but I wanted to say hi to those that are still here and remember me. Hope you’re all well!

Resurrecting this thread from the dead.
24 years old. Have had my tacoma for 4 years. Along with it came 2 kids.

I love my truck, but wish I had more room. I dread having to drive a full size, but Tundras are nice looking trucks too.
