Roads In Your Town

Try living in one of the poorest states ever....here in wv the coal trucks own the state...and do one hell of a number on the roads...

they dont even pave them anymore...they just patch the holes with gravel and tar and usually that makes it worse than before...

 

Overall roads in Texas are great compared to some other states I have traveled. I really can't complain about the roads in Texas!

 

Why do I get the impression Jennifer Granholm doesn't give a shit about your roads.

 

Because she doesn't, and we both live in the state capital!

The roads up here in Northern Ontario are garbage. We just had a thaw and now will be going back into the minus 20's or so. At least the ruts in the ice and snow on the city streets (that don't get plowed because of budget cutbacks) cover up the potholes.

 

Canada? Fine. Few holes that were already there have opened up a bit, but not bad.

 

One thing I hear from a lot of people that visit to Kansas is "the roads here are so nice." I have no complaints. They really are smooth and well maintained. Some of the county roads are too nice..
