Is (Boise) Idaho part of the Pacific Northwest?

So for some reason OZ-T aka Peter north has insisted that Idaho is not part of the Pacific Northwest. Every map I have looked at shows, at least Boise where I live, is in fact part of the PNW. So Tw cartographers? Is idaho in the pnw?

To help, I have provided some maps

Here is a definition off the interwebs

"The Northwestern United States is an informal geographic region of the United States. The region consistently includes the states of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho—and usually Montana and Wyoming. Some sources include southeast Alaska in the Northwest. The related but distinct term "Pacific Northwest" generally excludes areas from the Rockies eastward."

Aaaaand a definition.

The Pacific Northwest is a region in western North America bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the west and, loosely, by the Rocky Mountains on the east.

Seems pretty clear cut.

Yes. And I honestly believe that, though If I didn't I'd probably say yes just to spite Oz anyway. But yes, it is.

Crazy

Some say Pacific NW and some say Intermountain W. I grew up in Bozo and I say it is definitely part of the PNW.

The border with a state that touches the Pacific

We're talking geographical features and regions not the legal boarders of countries.

No. It's in the Mountain Time Zone and not the Pacific Time Zone.
