This was more of what I was thinking plus the fact they can't even stand up.

I don't recall, but I don't think they would be on the back of a vehicle like that.

It is safer if the dog can't stand up, but there should be enough room for the dog to move around and stretch its legs. The

Dog boxes are typically mounted at the rear of the truck bed. This is a two-dog version (dogs are in isolated compartments). Fancy ones have a toolbox on top and a water tank built-in.

    There are hitch-mounted versions, too:

Hmm, that is an example of an ass in action, I am talking about the driver with a camera speeding up at the last minute when they saw the car coming. The guy was driving too fast but camera car tried to cut them off. If they would have let him pass there would be no accident.

Disagree. The guy shouldn't have been passing on the right to start with, and if he's going to come into the lane it's his responsibility to make sure he has the room. The car with the camera has control of the lane, and therefore the right of way. Doesn't matter if they decide to slow down, speed up or stop. Hence the reason that if someone in front of you slams on the brakes for no apparent reason and you hit them, you'll get a ticket for following to closely.

I think it's total BS. Might be legal, but considering how easy it is to get slapped with animal cruelty charges, I don't get why this is OK?

As someone else said, the dog is breathing exhaust fumes. Not to mention serving as a bumper for the car. I don't like the hunting dog boxes that go in the bed of a truck either, but at least they aren't the trailing edge of the vehicle.
