Malapropisms.. Know Anyone Who Does This?

    The 'Sale vs. Sell' thread got me going on it.

    I work with a guy who screws up his words from time to time.. funny shit to say the least and always gets a laugh.

    Here are a few actual examples from him... he's a good guy though. :D

    "You'd have to be an extortionist to fit in there" *contortionist

    "They don't want to be held reliable if it breaks" *liable

    "I would just walk in and pronounce yourself" *announce

    "He's got one of those decimal meters to measure sound" *decibel


    There are a few others I cant think of right now. Has anyone caught this type of cross-linguistic from others?
