So i got this tattoo when I was 18.... I dont like it! Anyone have any good ideas for a cover up? Anyone good at drawing that would be willing to draw something up?

    An American flag?
    Better tribal art?

    Seriously, it's your body.
Figure out something you want and something you can live with for the rest of your life and go see a tattoo artist. They'll figure out how to draw what you want.

That is a pretty large and predominantly black piece.
It's going to take a VERY skilled artist to cover that, and likely a pretty large piece.

Might be worth it to get a couple of laser treatments to lighten it up... the cost will be repaid in the cover work being cheaper.

I hate to sound like a dick but I think its best for you to decide what tattoo you truly want.

I have alot of tattoos and I think they should sort of be personal, or at least something YOU picked out and wanted...not just asking someone else "hay what kind of tattoo should I get?"
Idk, maybe you are just looking for suggestion but maybe..look for some ideas inside your brain.

The thing with him using his own ideas to cover this up is its not gonna happen

He WILL have to take it to someone who specializes in cover ups, dont just go to joe at 123 tattoo down the road, givr him 50 bucks, tell him to trace your arm and draw a few differemt ideas of his own that will cover it up. Its going to be alot of black and dark purple i can tell you that . Then pick what you like best out of his choices.

The possibility of you walking in there and saying i want xxx to cover this is slim, hes gonna have to put alot of thought into it himself

Just dont be like one of those douche bags who blacks the whole thing out with black ink. I see guys who black out entire sleeves. Looks like shit! Also agree with above statement about you should choose something "YOU" like. Its with you 4-ever
