Water Pipe Burst

Well crap. Went to use the kitchen sink and no water. Looked around outside and found a new stream and pond in my yard. Killed the main and waiting for the hole to dry up in the morning and check it out.

Not very sporting to fire on an unarmed opponent.

Easy fix. Went out this morning and dug up the water line. It was a bad joint in some pvc that a previous owner had done. A little primer and glue made it as good as new.

No. The rushing water did most of the digging itself. I had to brush a little dirt off after it dried. The water company doesn't care about it when its on your side of the valve.
