Yup.

15-day wait and a background check to buy anything but food.

3-hour wait and a full physical to buy food. If you're fat, you can't buy that Pepsi.
3-hour wait will prevent "impulse" eating.

Yes you should, there is no reason for having that many remotes, they make multifunction remotes, you have to turn your remotes in and buy a multifunction remote immediately.
If you are caught with more than 1 remote per household you will be guilty of a felony.
