Hey guys, quick update. I just told my family I don't care what they think and I'm an American, I can wear whatever I want. So today, after going out with my family, I proudly wore my Jorts with a nice beater. I don't care what they think about my Jorts. I'll continue to wear Jorts for the rest of my life, despite what they think.

The secret is to get a pair of slim fit jeans, cut them and take it to have the ends done. ;)

You should do whatever the hell you want.

Me? I'd never wear "cutoffs", that just looks too much like Daisy Dukes. I wear the Carhartt carpenter style denim shorts. Loose fit and reach to my knees. Shorts, t shirt, sandals from May to November in CA.

Now, if my opinion matters, I'd say just don't look like Adam Sandler in "You don't mess with the Zohan", and you will still have e-respect from this stranger on the interwebs.
