comeback

On a local huntin forum I had a picture of a huntin trip with me truck in the background. a guy replied "does it run on rice? shoulda bought american" .Anybody have any good comebacks?

 

rice is cheaper then the gas your american car runs on.

sad part is, my import is more american then your "domestic" made in mexico.

dont be jealous my truck will out live you

Tell him that his American didn't get you to the hunt but your Toyota did.

 

tell him that if it was American(domestic)................it probably wouldnt be running at all! that dude's an asshat!!

also tell him that our trucks are made in america..............his is made in mexico and canada! how's he like them apples!!

besides, it was made in america , by americans, just with japanese technology. " and just added what tacomaman said about american made in mexico

I've noticed there's a lot of anger from all the pro-domestic guys these days. have you read any reviews on various sites for Toyotas and Hondas? Half of the "reviews" are guys saying stuff like: " Ya? Well I'm a proud owner of a Ford F-150/Taurus/Chevy Malibu and its a hell of a lot better than some junky "Import" ( emphasis on the word Import because they generalize so much that you can only assume that they must think ANYTHING that's imported is automatically bad)

Either that or they tell some story about how their Daddy's Uncle's Brother's Cousin had a Honda Accord,Camry, Tacoma, or whatever and "It broke down all the time." -or something like that.

The best I've seen lately is:" I'm a patriot and I support American-made cars and trucks. How DARE you wish for millions of Americans to lose their jobs!-buy American!"

My response is typically this: I could really care less that it has a Japanese name. Mine's made in Fremont CA. My Mom's Avalon in Kentucky. My Dad's Tundra in Indiana. Those workers are Americans too, so don't they deserve my dollars just as much? Its called Capitalism bitches. Get used to it!

 

i would of just ran over him set his truck on fire banged his wife and shit in his grave. all while driving my taco and doing doughnuts in his front yard.....sorry little over active maybe.

 

simple...just say "I did."

besides...it's a global economy. tell him to buy some Toyota Motor Co. USA stock. i'm guessing there are quite a few red-blooded americans who own stock in Toyota. ignorance is rampant these days.

 

Tell him you'll help drive him around looking for replacement parts when his domestic breaks down and the company that made it no longer exists to perform warranty work.
