    Saw it on the news tonight - very cool.

    It's really just an engineering exercise at this point - any practical application is years away.

    At approximately 30 MPH (ground speed) ... it will take some time to get across the US ... this site should be up for a while.

    Then ... they are going to attempt to go around the world in a Solar Powered Aircraft.
