    Yeah, looks like at least 50 killied and lot of them are kids in an elementary school. Devastating news.

    ...preliminary results from NWS survey cropping up... looks like they are saying maximum damage swath is 1.3 miles... i was skeptical of the "2 mi wide" claims, not because a tornado can't get that wide (the same supercell that hit greensburg, ks w/ a 1.5 mi wide tornado, later spawned a 2.5 mi wide tornado out over open country), but because none of the video i saw of this one appeared to be anywhere near that wide...

    time will tell, ...here's some preliminary, also note that the EF-4 and EF-5 damage areas are localized:
