My mom had an issue with me getting a bike. Girlfriends had issues with me having a bike. I still have my bike. My mom still has issues with it but still is my mom. Went through girlfriends with it and still able to find new ones. Having a bike doesn't change a thing. Well except that they worry more. And with that note I tend to use the worrying part as an advantage to the girlfriend. If you know what I mean.

Same mom situation as most. Just did it. As for the girl .... which do you think you will have more fun riding? And let me remind you your motorcycle wont get mad at you when you invite another girl to ride too!

So... you still with the girl?

I don't have a GF but my mom didn't want me to get my bike. I got it anyway, but she doesn't like it

Remember the episode where there is a kid on a 50cc dirtbike lost in the desert? I think that was the episode that made me want my first dirtbike when I was little. I was like ....... I require that to sustain life.

    How to get a bike

    Step 1, grow testicles

    Step 2, go purchase bike

Step 3, tell GF/wife to pound sand

I did just that, wife threatened to leave, at this point i would have welcomed that....i kept my bike and she stayed around, wasnt my first bike tho, i had to sell my first one to afford my house.
